Journey Inwards
Modern Mindfulness
Modern Mindfulness
I've learnt a lot as a Mindfulness Meditation student. It's been over 17+ years and every day is a new discovery, new insights, inspiration and wonder. My journey inwards has been an incredibly fulfilling one thus far. I am continually creating who I Am, observing and re-creating. I Am always still learning, and everyday challenges are my opportunities to practice.
I hope I can share, empower and support you, on your journey inwards too.
Install up-to-date operating software to your incredible bio-computer, and un-install those clunky, glitchy old programs that don’t serve you anymore.
Our Mindfulness practice is what enables us to observe, identify and analyse (without judgement) what programs we have in our operating system.
Here are 3 simple and fun activities, incorporating imaginative play and inclusive dialogue to facilitate exploring and sharing mindfulness ideas and practices. Through the play of these activities, children will be able to discover the essence of mindfulness in their daily lives through kinaesthetic play - Enjoy!
”The Human body is a microcosm of the Universe”
- Eckhart Tolle
Macrocosm and microcosm refers to a vision of cosmos where the part (microcosm) reflects the whole (macrocosm) and vice versa.
In morning meditation reflection today, the clear connections, join-the-dots insights came vividly and clearly that helped understand our current situation.
Many of us believe that the journey ‘to’ self-realisation is to an external ‘end destination’. We are actually, already ‘there’! We are just not aware of it. But once we Know it, we are there. It is not an external destination, but an internal one. The journey isn't too some far off destination, but inwards, into ourselves.
Good vibes, Bad vibes - what is that?
Many years ago, when I first started intensively meditating, I had a vivid dream I can still remember clearly today. Every human has energy within them, differing in the degree or frequency. It's our vibe!
What's our Inner-Being, why is it important?
This analogy was shared with me by my first mentor. It was a simple yet powerful present-day analogy that helped me comprehend an age-old Truth.
How do I connect to my Inner-Being?
By recognising and bringing awareness to Ego and Pain-Body. Ego, simply put, is another name for our mind. Pain-Body is the powerful by-product of Ego, of our mind.
How are we all One?
Mother Nature - she's an ancient teacher with a lot to say.
Why is Mindfulness Meditation important?
How mindfulness meditation has helped me through the darkest of days.
How is Mindfulness Meditation important for Kids?
Our kids already Know how to be present. It's our job not to taint them with our own Ego and Emotion.
